How to start your day?

First come first, wakeup early and start your day by drinking lukewarm water with lemon

Why lukewarm water with lemon?

1) Lemon boosts metabolism and burn calories.

2) Antioxidant vitamin-c booster the immunity level and prevent heart disease and even cancer

3) Reduce the risk of kidney stone which is now a days very common in youngsters and working professionals

4) Helps in digestion

After 10-20 minutes have soaked nuts like almonds,raisins,dates,etc and some fruit’s

IN BREAKFAST

Time: after 1 hour of wakeup/avoid after 10 am

1) oats: which is rich in fiber protein, magnesium,phosphorus antioxidant

2) poha:(flattened rice) control blood sugar,rich in iron and fiber a good probiotic healthy carbo

3) upma:(semolina) good for immunity, good for kidney, good for heart

IN LUNCH

Time between 1 to 2 pm /avoid after 3 am

Take proper balances diet chappati, rice, dal, sanji, salad curd.

(Dont mix your salad with meals first have salad then your lunch) important to note: add 2 tablespoons of ghee in your daily diet

IN SUPPER (EVENING SNACKS)

After 2-3 hours of your lunch you can have:

1) sprouts

2)sweet potatoes

3)puffed rice (murmure)

4)roasted grams

Benefits: they are very healthy and light and easy to digest

IN DINNER

Time: normally one should have dinner by 8pm but if you are office going try to have your dinner before 11pm/avoid having meals after that.

Take more green leafs vegetable, take 1-2 chappati,eat more salad avoid having rice and curd at night

1) vegetable and salad (green veggies and mix fruits salads)

2) lean proteins (pulses/beans/soybean)

3) starchy carbohydrate (chappati,rice,potato)

End your day…… having 1 glass of golden milk (haldi wala dudh) you can add 1 teaspoon honey (optional)

Breakfast at my House

During the week we’re often walking out the door with a coffee in one hand and slice of toast in the other, but on weekends breakfast is never rushed. It’s a late affair, sometimes spilling over to lunch, with lots of reading and chatter in between courses of fruits, poached eggs, honey and toast. One of our favorite things we like to serve when friends are visiting are buckwheat blueberry pancakes.
